Comment: I was married to our classmate Linda (Kosbar) Eldridge 50 years before she passed away. I graduated from Michigan Tech with a BS in civil engineering with a structural engineering emphasis and an Army commission as a 2LT.   I spent 13 years in the Army Reserve in units in Michigan and Indiana.  Most of my engineering career was bridge engineering including movable bridges.  I am now fully retired.  My two daughters continue our summer family camping trips. After a sports injury in my mid forties put me in intensive care, I had to walk and walk some more to rehabilitate my leg. I entered a 5k about 20 years ago and finished but not quite last.  Since then I have been competitive walking in 5k, 8k, and 10k races beating my younger daughter in several recent events.  My goals for 2023 included my first half marathon (13.1 miles) which was a trail race on a hot sunny day and I finished ahead of 6 other people even though I was the oldest male participant.  I hope to see many classmates at our 57th class reunion.

Comment: I married and moved to Oklahoma in 1968. Retired in 2011 after working 39 years at Phillips Petroleum/ConocoPhillips. I spent most of my time there in Media Relations and Corporate Contributions. I have two sons, Steven, 49, and Brian, who sadly passed away in 2010 at age 35 of cancer. I have three grandchildren, 19, 16, and 11. I have been married to my current husband for 38 years, he has two children, six grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren. We are active at our church, I sing in the choir, and volunteer for different groups and events.

Comment: I became a Registered Nurse & completed my BS attending the University of MO at Kansas City, affiliated with Research Hospital & Medical Center.


After graduation, a classmate & I moved to Saugatuck, MI. We worked at a 120 bed hospital, quite a culture shock after trainning in 1,200 bed hospitals. However, we both enjoyed the family atmosphere.                                            After working one year, Maggie(Margaret)Selleck & I traveld in Western Europe, Switzerlad was our home base.                                                                        My husband, Bill, & I were married on the 4th of July, in 1992, in Traverse City. We have enjyed an active life on Lake Michigan.   We both enjoyed sailing & power boating, & all water sports, along with a few weeks in the sunny South each winter. Along with Bill, I inherited 4 stepchildren. We like to spend time with our 4 grandchildren, family, friends & our 3rd Airedale=Izzie. Recently, we moved into a condo on Old Mission Peninsula.   On August 18th 2015, I was blessed with a new kidney. Life is Good!
