| Comment: John and I were married one month short of 42 years when he lost his battle with cancer - and yes, I am still working full time. I must be so much younger than the rest of my "retired" classmates. We lived in Owosso until the Air Force. Then John was stationed in Texas (I stayed in Owosso) then Ohio (I went for 2 years) then moved back to Owosso when his orders took him to Viet Nam. We had been married 4 years at that point and our first child was 8 months old when he came back. John was a licensed contractor, owned our own construction company for 26 years, then due to health, he became the building official for City of Owosso. Wait is this about me or John? Well, you can imagine - my life was all about the two of us. I worked Banking and then made a slight change - medical since 1985, currently Supervisor Coding & Compliance Profesisonal Services Memorial Healthcare, we take care of about 86 providers. Great staff, no real reason to retire - except for my wonderful 6 grandchildren. I love life and love to travel, my grandchildren are now my travel mates. Lets talk at the reunion - so much to catch up on. My first reunion I am going without my John. | |
